To welcome staff back after Christmas break, the Sunshine Committee hosted a walking taco party as a fun and healthy treat.

the NMS Sunshine Committee treated the NMS staff to a delightful cookie bar complete with muffins. Thank you to the Sunshine Committee for sweetening our day and spreading holiday cheer!
On the 7th day of Christmas,
the Sunshine Committee treated the NMS staff to a delicious donut and coffee bar featuring Krispy Kreme and Starbucks. Thank you, Sunshine Committee, for adding a little sweetness and pep to our day. The holidays are brighter because of you!
On the 8th day of Christmas,
the Sunshine Committee treated the NMS staff to a festive popcorn bar filled with all the toppings and holiday goodies. Thank you, Sunshine Committee, for sprinkling cheer around campus and keeping the holiday spirit bright. We appreciate all you do!
When Tech Meets Art: Student Collaboration Spotlight
Students in Mr. Gonzalez’s Tech Apps and Principles of A/V classes are gearing up to record their video shorts this week. With support from Mr. Arnold’s art classes, they’ve been hard at work designing and building their sets. Second period is recreating a scene from The Polar Express, and today they began painting the inside of the train car to serve as the backdrop for their film. A special thank you to Mr. Arnold and his students for helping bring these projects to life with such impressive visual artistry.

Help us celebrate 8th graders, Jaeleana Aguilar and Destiny Garcia and 7th grader Sadie Garcia, our amazing NMS Cheerleaders who earned the prestigious title of All American Middle School Cheerleader this summer and proudly represented NMS at the Varsity Spirit Orlando Thanksgiving Tour at Walt Disney World Resort!
They were selected from the top 15% of performers at Varsity Spirit Camps, earning the honor to participate in the All-American Thanksgiving Parade at Disney, an annual showcase where elite cheerleaders and dancers from across the nation perform down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom during Thanksgiving week. 📣
We are SO proud of Jaeleana, Sadie, and Destiny for earning this honor and shining on a national stage! They represented NMS with pride, excellence and the Cowboy/Cowgirl Spirit!

Last night, Cotulla High School staff visited Newman Middle School to share information about the Cotulla Early College High School! 🌟
Our 8th graders were excited by the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and an associate degree at the same time. Cotulla ISD continues to pave the way for student success by opening doors to college and career readiness through Cotulla ECHS! 🎓
