Mrs. Dora Sanchez's Read-180 class has recently finished reading "Where the Red Fern Grows." To treat her students, Mrs. Sanchez brought in two presenters Mrs. Margie Trigo-Hinojosa and Mr. Chris Hinojosa to show them their own coonhounds. The presenters talked about the similarities of both the book and the behavior of their own dogs. They talked about the features that these dogs have, and what makes them so special to many to be used as hunting dogs.
