The Cowgirls traveled to Crystal City to compete in the district tournament and finished undefeated, claiming the district championship!

The brackets for the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball tournaments are set for tomorrow!The 7th grade will compete at Hondo High School, and the 8th grade will compete at Poteet High School.
Hondo will not have a concession stand. Spectators will be allowed to bring their own food and drinks.

A great night celebrating our students! 👏
At last night’s School Board meeting, the Cotulla ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Ramirez Burks Elementary UIL team for earning 1st place overall and for each student’s achievements! They also celebrated our Varsity Football team for an outstanding season as UIL 3A Division II Bi-District Champions and Area Finalists.
School will resume on a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 27.
Monday, January 19th, NMS Band students traveled to Natalia HS to audition for the Region 11 ATSSB All-Region JH Band. Students who earned a spot in an All-Region Band will perform at the All-Region Concert in Somerset on February 21st. Here are the results:

To welcome staff back after Christmas break, the Sunshine Committee hosted a walking taco party as a fun and healthy treat.
