🎉 Bringing RLA to Life Through Real-World Connections! 🔬
Learning came to life in this 6th-grade RLA classroom as students stepped into the roles of scientists to investigate the infamous Yellow Fever! Through engaging role-play and meaningful real-world connections, students explored this fascinating historical topic while strengthening essential reading skills.
As they examined key details and used evidence from the text to determine the main idea, students experienced firsthand how reading comprehension connects to the world around them.
What an exciting example of bringing the Amplify RLA curriculum to life through hands-on learning, critical thinking, and student engagement!

📢 MS Football & Volleyball Practice Update:
There will be no 6:30 AM practices for MS Football or Volleyball.
Practices will be held after school at 4:00 PM. Encinal athletes will return home on the 5:30 PM route.

Our 6th Grade Science students explored a Phenomenon activity where they used physical properties to identify and classify elements as metals, nonmetals, or metalloids. Students observed, analyzed, and used evidence to make connections to the periodic table. ⚛️
